Pricing comparison

Browserbase pricing, and what 50 parallel browsers cost.

Browserbase sells monthly plans that bundle browser-hours and set your concurrency. Browser Use Cloud has no plan: $0.02 per browser-hour, and concurrency rises with what you have paid in total. Both, side by side, checked October 16, 2026.

Browserbase bills browser time by the minute and proxy traffic by the MB, with a one-minute and one-MB minimum per session. Plans also include proxy traffic (1 GB on Developer, 5 GB on Startup, then $12 and $10/GB), and Agent, Search and Fetch calls. Browser Use Cloud has no plan: credits are bought as needed, concurrency rises with the total a project has paid, and managed proxy traffic is $5/GB. Browserbase plans · Browser Use pricing

Light use fits inside a Browserbase plan, so the plan fee is the bill. Past the included hours, every hour costs $0.10 to $0.12. On Browser Use the bill is hours times $0.02, at any size.

Billable hours, after each provider's per-session rounding (see the billing note under the plans), so many very short sessions bill more than their runtime. Browserbase: the cheapest self-serve plan whose concurrency fits, plan fee plus listed overage. Browser Use: browser-hours times $0.02. The one-time payment is prepaid credit that the same browser-hours spend, not a fee. Both exclude network traffic (Browser Use: $5/GB residential proxy, $0.20/GB direct or your own proxy), and Browserbase's included Agent, Search and Fetch calls. Checked October 16, 2026. Concurrency: a plan tier vs a total paid.

On Browserbase the plan sets how many browsers run at once: 3, 25, 100 or 250+, shared by every project in the organization, with a separate cap on sessions created per minute. On Browser Use Cloud a new project runs 10 at once. One payment counts in full as soon as it succeeds: $100 paid unlocks 50, $1,000 paid unlocks 250, $5,000 paid unlocks 500, $25,000 paid unlocks 1,000. This applies to projects created since the tiers launched; older projects keep their limits until support moves them. Credits never expire and are spent on the same browser-hours. Above 1,000, enterprise terms. Browserbase concurrency · Browser Use usage tiers

Running the browser-use library on either.

Browserbase's browser-use integration creates a session and hands its connect_url to the agent. Browser Use Cloud is built into the library: Browser(use_cloud=True) creates the browser, prints a live view URL and stops it with browser.stop(). To run 50 agents in parallel, give each its own browser and cap the fan-out at your project's concurrency.
import asynciofrom browser_use import Agent, Browser, ChatBrowserUse async def run(task: str): # A new cloud browser per agent, with a live view URL browser = Browser(use_cloud=True) try: # no per-agent signal handler: Ctrl+C reaches every finally below agent = Agent(task=task, llm=ChatBrowserUse(), browser=browser, enable_signal_handler=False) return await agent.run() finally: await browser.stop() async def main(tasks: list[str]): limit = asyncio.Semaphore(50) # your project's concurrency async def bounded(t): async with limit: return await run(t) # return_exceptions: one failed agent does not abandon the others mid-run return await asyncio.gather(*(bounded(t) for t in tasks), return_exceptions=True)

Billing unit
Browserbase: browser time by the minute and proxy traffic by the MB, with a one-minute and one-MB minimum per session. Browser Use: browser time by the minute, with a one-minute minimum.
Session length
Browserbase: 15 minutes on Free, 6 hours on paid plans. Browser Use: up to 4 hours per browser.
Proxy traffic
Browserbase: 1 GB or 5 GB included, then $12 or $10/GB; none on Free. Browser Use: $5/GB residential in 195+ countries, $0.20/GB for direct or your own proxy.
Stealth
Browserbase's Verified mode needs the Scale plan. Browser Use stealth is on for every browser: 90.5% got through on Stealth Bench V2, Browserbase 78.5% on its standard mode. The 100 sites were picked because Browser Use Cloud historically got through where stock Chrome with a US proxy did not. They are hard on purpose and not a balanced sample of the web or of anti-bot vendors. Method.
What else a plan includes
Browserbase plans include Agent, Search and Fetch calls and hosted Functions. Browser Use prices the browser alone; its hosted agent is billed by model tokens plus browser time.
Free start
Browserbase Free: 1 browser-hour, no card. Browser Use: a one-time signup credit and 10 concurrent browsers.

Questions people ask

How much does Browserbase cost?

As of October 16, 2026: Free is $0 with 3 concurrent browsers and 1 browser-hour. Developer is $20/month with 25 concurrent browsers and 100 hours, then $0.12 per hour. Startup is $99/month with 100 concurrent browsers and 500 hours, then $0.10 per hour. Scale (250+ concurrent) is priced through sales.

How many concurrent sessions does Browserbase allow?

It depends on the monthly plan: 3 on Free, 25 on Developer, 100 on Startup and 250+ on Scale. Session creation is also rate limited, to 5, 25, 50 and 150+ per minute. Concurrency is set per organization and split across its projects.

What does it cost to run 50 browsers in parallel?

On Browserbase, 50 at once needs the Startup plan at $99/month. On Browser Use Cloud, a project reaches 50 at once after $100 total paid, once, as credits that never expire; browsers then cost $0.02 per hour. At 8,800 browser-hours a month (50 browsers, 8 hours a day, 22 days) that is $929 on Browserbase and $176 on Browser Use, before proxy traffic.

How is Browserbase billed?

Browserbase bills browser time by the minute and proxy traffic by the MB, with a one-minute and one-MB minimum per session. Browser Use bills browser time by the minute, with a one-minute minimum, with no subscription.

Can I run the open-source browser-use library on Browserbase?

Yes. Browserbase documents it: create a Browserbase session and pass its connect_url to BrowserProfile(cdp_url=...). The same library runs on Browser Use Cloud with Browser(use_cloud=True), which creates the cloud browser, prints its live view URL and stops it when you call browser.stop().

Is there a cheaper Browserbase alternative?

Browser Use Cloud costs $0.02 per browser-hour with no subscription, against Browserbase's $0.10 to $0.12 after plan-included hours. On Stealth Bench V2 it got through on 90.5% of visits to 100 bot-protected sites, Browserbase on 78.5%. The 100 sites were picked because Browser Use Cloud historically got through where stock Chrome with a US proxy did not. They are hard on purpose and not a balanced sample of the web or of anti-bot vendors. Browserbase is the better fit if Stagehand's server-side caching, Selenium, or its Search and Fetch APIs are central to your stack.
