Questions

Do I need a Chrome extension?

No. Paste one prompt into Codex and it sets itself up. Chrome asks once for permission.

How do I know which tab Codex is using?

The tab Codex controls gets a 🐴 at the start of its title. It works in the background, so the tab you are looking at stays yours.

What does it cost?

Nothing. Browser Harness is open source under MIT, and using your own Chrome is free. Cloud browsers are $0.02 per browser-hour if you want them.
