How it works
Enter the website URL
Enter a URL to read the original response HTML. Use browser rendering for JavaScript-generated content, or paste HTML you already have.
Select the content
Main content uses main, article, or role=main when present and removes navigation, headers, footers, and sidebars. Choose the entire page to include those sections.
Save plain text
Review the extracted text, including paragraph breaks and table cell values. Copy it into your workflow or download it as a text file.
How do I extract text from a website?
Paste the webpage URL, click Extract text, and review the result. Copy it or download a .txt file. This website-to-text converter reads one public page at a time, without requiring an account.
How is readable text selected?
The extractor uses DOM rules, not an AI summary. It removes script and style content and explicitly hidden elements. Browser mode also excludes elements hidden by display or visibility rules; original HTML cannot evaluate external stylesheets.
What will be missing?
Images are not transcribed, PDFs are not parsed, and the tool does not click, scroll, log in, or open iframes. Main-content detection depends on the page’s markup; select the entire page if a useful section is missing.
