## Ask an agent to

- Start a two-floor house from a template
- Add a bedroom next to the living room and place a bed
- Check whether the current layout breaks any constraints

## 21 tools

- `add_opening`

Cut a door, window or archway into a wall.

wallId: string, kind: string, offsetIn: number, widthIn: number, swing: string?

- `add_room`

Add a room, optionally attached to an existing one so they share a wall.

name: string, type: string, widthIn: number, depthIn: number, attachTo: object?

- `apply_edits`

Run several edits in one call -- furnish a whole room in a single round trip.

    edits: array

- `compute_areas`read-only

Area per room, the total conditioned area, and each room's margin above its minimum.

    roomIds: array?

- `get_camera`read-only

Where the camera is and what it is looking at, in plain language.

- `get_layout`read-only

Read the current floorplan. Defaults to a compact summary of rooms, areas and adjacency.

    detail: string?

- `get_selection`read-only

Read what the human currently has selected in the 3D scene.

- `list_templates`read-only

The starting templates a design can begin from, with which one is loaded now.

- `move_furniture`

Move or turn a piece already in the plan; dropping it in another room re-homes it.

furnitureId: string, position: object?, rotation: number?

- `move_wall`

Move a wall perpendicular to itself, resizing every room that shares it.

wallId: string, distanceIn: number, direction: string

- `place_furniture`

Place a catalog item in a room; omit position to auto-place against a wall.

roomId: string, catalogId: string, footprint: object, position: object?, rotation: number?, clearanceFrontIn: number?, color: string?

- `propose_variants`

Offer 2-3 alternative layouts as ghosted overlays for the human to choose between.

    goal: string, variants: array

- `remove_element`

Remove a wall, room, opening or furniture item, cascading to what depends on it.

    elementId: string

- `resize_furniture`

Change a placed piece's footprint where it stands; position and rotation stay put.

furnitureId: string, widthIn: number?, depthIn: number?

- `resize_room`

Set a room's width and/or depth. Convenience wrapper over move\_wall.

roomId: string, widthIn: number?, depthIn: number?

- `set_active_floor`

Switch which floor of a multi-floor design is being edited, for every tool and the human alike.

Step the plan back through the edit history.
