# touriDat: 8 WebMCP tools for AI agents

## 8 tools

When we loaded touridat.com again on Oct 24, 2026, it registered these through `navigator.modelContext` or `provideContext()`, from earlier WebMCP drafts. Chrome 154 only offers `document.modelContext`, so Chrome’s own agent support does not see them.

-   `go_to_checkout`
    
    Navigate the user to the checkout page. Only useful if the shopping basket already contains items.
    
-   `open_blog_index`
    
    Open the touriDat blog index listing all published articles.
    
-   `open_blog_post`
    
    Open a touriDat blog post by slug. Use when the user asks to read a specific article.

-   `open_category`
    
    Navigate to a touriDat category listing page (brand, theme, or voucher family). Use when the user asks to browse a category, e.g. 'show all wellness offers' or 'open the gift vouchers category'.

-   `open_host`
    
    Open the detail page of a touriDat accommodation (Host). Use when the user wants to view a specific hotel or property they've seen in results.

-   `open_map`
    
    Open the interactive map view of touriDat accommodations. Use when the user asks to 'see on a map' or 'browse by location'.
    
-   `search_products`
    
    Search touriDat for travel vouchers and accommodations. Navigates the user to the search results page for the given query. Use for any request of the form 'find X', 'show me Y'.
