## SkillMD

Library of safety-reviewed agent skills. Agents can search skills and read metadata, ratings and safety verdicts.

[Open skillmd.com](https://skillmd.com/)

## Ask an agent to

- Find a safety-reviewed skill for code review
- Check the safety verdict of a skill
- Search skills for spreadsheet automation

## 2 tools

When we loaded skillmd.com again on Oct 24, 2026, it registered these through `navigator.modelContext` or `provideContext()`, from earlier WebMCP drafts. Chrome 154 only offers `document.modelContext`, so Chrome’s own agent support does not see them.

- `get_skill`

Get metadata, rating, and safety verdict for one skill by owner and name.

    owner: string, name: string

- `search_skills`

Search the SkillMD registry of safety-reviewed Agent Skills by keyword or task.

    query: string

Tool names and descriptions are what skillmd.com/ registered when we loaded it in Chrome 154 on Browser Use Cloud. The summary and the “ask an agent” lines are AI-written from them. To call the tools yourself, see [Chrome’s WebMCP docs](https://developer.chrome.com/docs/ai/webmcp). [How we found it](https://browser-use.com/webmcp#method).
