## How it works

### Set the viewport

Paste a public URL and choose a screen size, or enter custom dimensions. Mobile selects a narrow viewport; it does not emulate a physical phone or its browser.

### Capture the page

A fresh remote Chromium browser opens the page and takes a screenshot after its load event, within a bounded time limit. Choose the visible viewport or a full-page capture.

### Download the image

Check the preview, final URL, and captured dimensions. Download the image directly; screenshots are not published to a public gallery.

### What will the screenshot include?

The page as an anonymous visitor sees it, including cookie banners. Login, consent clicks, custom scripts, and infinite scrolling are not supported. Very tall pages are cropped, with a notice on the result.

### Why might a page look different?

Sites can vary by browser, location, animation, and loading time. Some block automated visits. The tool reports failures rather than substituting an image or bypassing a challenge.
