BROWSER USE

- Browser Use Agents: give Browser Use a task and receive completed work. API V4 is current for new integrations.
- Browser Infrastructure: connect your agent or automation to managed browsers through SDK, REST, or CDP. Starts at $0.02/browser-hour.
- Developer tools: Open Source, Browser Harness, SDK, and MCP support the two products above.

# Random User Agent Generator

## Random User Agent Generator

Generate a random, current user agent string for Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on Windows, macOS, Linux, Android or iOS. Copy one or the whole list. Versions checked against official release data.

## How it works

### Pick a browser and system

Leave both on Any for a random string, or narrow to one browser or operating system.

### Generate or browse

Generate another to draw a different string. Every matching string is also listed under the generator.

### Copy it

Copy a single string, copy the whole list, or download it as a text file.

### Why are some version numbers 0.0.0?

Chrome and Edge now send only the major version in the user agent, followed by .0.0.0, and keep the operating system token fixed. Safari also freezes its operating system version. The strings here follow those formats.

### Where do the versions come from?

Chrome versions come from Chromium Dash, Firefox from Mozilla's product details, Edge from Microsoft's Stable channel release notes and Safari from Apple's release notes. The check date and links are listed under the generator.

## Need more than a user agent?

Browser Use cloud browsers run a maintained Chromium fork with residential proxies.

## Why a user agent alone does not get past bot detection

- Chromium browsers also send [Sec-CH-UA client hint headers](https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Reference/Headers/Sec-CH-UA) and expose navigator.userAgentData. A swapped user agent that disagrees with them is easy to spot.
- Page scripts read many other signals, such as navigator.webdriver, the WebGL renderer, plugins and window sizes. A new user agent changes none of them.
- The [TLS handshake fingerprint](https://developers.cloudflare.com/bots/additional-configurations/ja3-ja4-fingerprint/) comes from the HTTP client itself, so a curl or Python request with a Chrome user agent can still be told apart from Chrome.

See what your own browser gives away with the [bot detection test](https://browser-use.com/tools/bot-detection-test).
