# Free Cookie Parser

## Free Cookie Parser and Storage-State Inspector

Parse Cookie and Set-Cookie headers or inspect Playwright storage-state JSON. Check expiry, SameSite, Secure, HttpOnly, and saved localStorage entries.

## How it works

### Choose the input format

Paste a Cookie request header, one Set-Cookie response header per line, or a Playwright storage-state JSON file. Use the example to explore the report.

### Inspect cookies and storage

Review cookie names, domains, paths, expiry, and attributes. Storage-state files also show localStorage entries grouped by origin. Values are hidden until you choose to reveal them.

### Export the report

Filter cookies by name or domain and download the complete inspection report as JSON. Values stay masked in exports unless Show values is enabled. Pasted data is never applied to your browser or sent to a server.

### Cookie versus Set-Cookie: what is the difference?

A Cookie request header contains name/value pairs. It does not include expiry, SameSite, Secure, or HttpOnly attributes. Set-Cookie response headers include those settings. Paste separate Set-Cookie headers on separate lines; commas in Expires dates are not cookie separators.

### How is expiry interpreted?

A valid Max-Age takes precedence over Expires. Positive Max-Age values are relative to when the header was received, so this tool does not invent an absolute expiration time. Stored timestamps and Expires dates are compared with your device clock.

### Does this validate a logged-in session?

No. The inspector reads cookie attributes and saved storage only. It does not visit the target website, restore authentication, read your browser cookies, or assess whether the server still accepts a token. IndexedDB contents in storage-state files are not displayed.

## Keep browser workflows authenticated.

Use Browser Use for website workflows that need persistent login state, navigation, and data extraction.
